About The Position

The Warehouse Associate I position at Wolar Industrial involves supporting the warehouse team in the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of metal gaskets and related products. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-2 years of experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience documenting order processes.
  • Capable of being trained to drive a forklift.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, pick/pack, and logistics.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, or crouch for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years of warehouse experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment according to customer orders.
  • Ensure accuracy of picked items by cross-referencing order numbers and product descriptions.
  • Stage orders for shipping and ensure they are correctly labeled and documented.
  • Assist with receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and condition.
  • Store products in appropriate locations in the warehouse, following safety and inventory control procedures.
  • Track product movement using warehouse management software and assist with periodic inventory counts.
  • Report any discrepancies or damage to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Perform routine cleaning, sorting, and organizing of warehouse items as assigned.
  • Assist with the organization of inventory, stock rotation, and ensuring that warehouse spaces are fully stocked and accessible.
  • Follow safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Comply with company policies and industry regulations, particularly those related to the handling of hazardous materials.
  • Use manual labor and material handling equipment to move products throughout the warehouse.
  • Assist with customer order inquiries, tracking, and any related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Coordinate the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timely deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
