About The Position

This hybrid position combines responsibilities of a Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate. The role ensures safe, accurate, and efficient movement of goods within the distribution center and timely delivery to customers. Candidates must be qualified, willing, and able to perform both sets of duties. Disclaimer: Workload may vary-some days or weeks may be heavier on delivery responsibilities, while others may focus more on warehouse operations. The split will not always be equal.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Experience as a delivery driver preferred; minimum 3 months warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License; may require DOT Medical Card, CDL, and random drug testing depending on route/vehicle.
  • Forklift certification or ability to become certified preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English; interpret safety rules and procedural manuals.
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to differentiate product codes and descriptions.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
  • Basic computer skills; ability to operate Windows-based systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-motivated and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a delivery driver preferred

Responsibilities

  • Establish route plan by referencing manifest summary, verify package counts, and load truck accordingly.
  • Complete vehicle inspection (lights, tires, brakes) before departure.
  • Drive assigned truck and deliver products safely, adhering to all driving laws.
  • Deliver packages to designated areas at clinics, verify counts, follow special instructions (e.g., COD), and obtain signatures.
  • Pick up preauthorized product returns.
  • Communicate with branch/warehouse manager regarding delivery issues or customer concerns.
  • Schedule regular vehicle maintenance and report mechanical concerns.
  • Utilize RF scanner to pick inventory for customer orders.
  • Move completed orders to next processing areas.
  • Inspect inventory for potential issues and report concerns.
  • Pack and ship orders using proper materials and processes to prevent damage.
  • Validate product details (lot/batch numbers, quantities, dosages, strengths, sizes).
  • Print and apply shipping labels, stage packages for carriers.
  • Perform inventory control tasks (counts, replenishments, consolidations).
  • Receive inventory from suppliers, validate accuracy, and perform putaways.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas; perform general housekeeping tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
