SUMMARY We are currently seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Associate for our Closed-Door Pharmacy, at our Fort-Worth, TX location. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned. Under general supervision of a licensed pharmacist/operations manager, and in accordance with standard departmental procedures. Supports the company mission, vision, and values. Generates invoices and shipping labels Prepares, packages and ships product accurately and according to specifications so they are received in good, useable condition according to packing and shipping standards and procedures Fills customer orders in a timely and accurate manner Receives and unloads new product shipments, verifying items for accuracy, damage, dates and lots; records appropriate information in receiving logs Regular interaction and communication with Receiving/Inventory Clerk to ensure proper stock at all times Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies Ability to make thoughtful recommendations regarding efficient, cost-effective shipping alternatives Responsible for following all of safety practices including, but not limited to: equipment, building, and general safety practices

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or general education degree (GED)
  • One (1) year general warehouse experience, preferably in veterinary products environment
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Generates invoices and shipping labels
  • Prepares, packages and ships product accurately and according to specifications so they are received in good, useable condition according to packing and shipping standards and procedures
  • Fills customer orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Receives and unloads new product shipments, verifying items for accuracy, damage, dates and lots; records appropriate information in receiving logs
  • Regular interaction and communication with Receiving/Inventory Clerk to ensure proper stock at all times
  • Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies
  • Ability to make thoughtful recommendations regarding efficient, cost-effective shipping alternatives
