About The Position

The Warehouse Associate position at Core-Mark is essential for maintaining the efficient flow of products through the distribution process. This role involves actively retrieving, stacking, and monitoring inventory levels while ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety policies. Warehouse associates work independently in a safe and inclusive environment, contributing to the company's success in food distribution.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
  • Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position.
  • Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout the shift.
  • Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer, and dry.
  • Able to get certified in forklift operation and Electrical-Pallet Jack.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of warehouse and/or distribution work experience using the double fork electric pallet jack.
  • Foodservice distribution or related industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve product and stack orders for delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels within the warehouse.
  • Direct, stock, select, and replenish products.
  • Retrieve product according to printed customer orders and pack products.
  • Restock order selection zones as necessary and consolidate merchandise.
  • Stack orders securely according to the sequence of delivery route.
  • Apply shipping ID labels to products and complete paperwork related to the inventory process.
  • Maintain an orderly workstation and return supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
  • Record materials and inventory levels.
  • Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines.
  • Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
