Responsibilities

• Assist customers with dispatch of materials and read customer orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
• Mark materials with identifying information and open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
• Maintain inventory records and record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Drive forklift and maintain a clean environment.
