Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous forklift experience preferred Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Previous experience in a laboratory supporting quality control and testing a bonus Key Responsibilities: Load and unload various, diversly packaged items with the use of forklift equipment Receive all raw materials to be used in production and for testing purposes. Perform weighing of items with industrial scales Gathering products and materials for quality control testing, making notes on findings in support of quality control team when requested. Store finished product in designated storage area, Staging items for successful loading in anticipation of freight carrier arrival Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Warehouse Manager and quality control team. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Demonstrates positive leadership and ability to hold self and others accountable. Must be able to work in areas with moderate dust and noise, hot and cold temperatures, and around automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
