Note: This position also requires working off the forklift as well.

Requirements

  • Stand-up Reach Forklift: 1 year (Required)
  • High school diploma or General education degree (GED).
  • Ability to speak and read English instructions.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to follow orders and proper machine operating.
  • Learn tasks quickly, be detailed, accuracy-driven, personable, team-oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • General Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Receiving office at the beginning of each shift for the daily assignment, vehicle inspection sheet, and replenishment discrepancies sheet.
  • Inspects assigned lift and completes vehicle inspection sheet.
  • Replenishes pick slots. If no requests exist, manually replenish to fill empty or almost empty slots.
  • Maintains correct counts.
  • Verifies that the correct product is being put in the appropriate pick location.
  • Removes all empty pallets from pick locations and aisles.
  • Separates the good, and bad, pallets and neatly stages in the pallet staging area.
  • Operates the lift in a safe and efficient manner and parks and recharges the lift in its appropriate spot at the end of the shift.
  • Ability to operate the following lift trucks: LP-Gas sit down Rider Electric Stand-up Rider Low Lift Electric Hand Truck
  • Understand procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processes.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two -step instructions and to deal with ordinary, standardized situations.
  • Ability to perform very basic math skills including adding; subtracting, multiplying, and dividing two-digit numbers; and operations with units such as inch, foot, yard; ounce, and pound.
  • Able to read, write and communicate in English.
