About The Position

BrightKey is looking to hire a Warehouse Associate to grow their team in Odenton, MD. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment and a strong commitment to safety and productivity. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of products within the warehouse. This role involves pick/pack operations, palletizing goods for shipment, operating various warehouse equipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate or similar role
• Must have FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
• Offer of employment subject to drug and background screening.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
• Capacity to perform physical tasks that require repetitive motions.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick items from inventory based on customer orders.
• Pack products securely to prevent damage during shipping.
• Label packages with shipping information and ensure proper documentation.
• Organize and stack products on pallets for shipment.
• Ensure pallets are stable, secure, and meet shipping standards.
• Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, and cherry pickers.
• Perform regular equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and transactions.
• Assist in managing stock levels and reordering supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
• Assist with receiving and unloading incoming shipments.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
