About The Position

The Production Associate at Butterball, LLC is responsible for performing various production tasks to support the daily goals of the Ready to Cook (RTC) Department. This role involves processing products, adhering to safety and quality standards, and maintaining a clean work environment. The position requires flexibility to rotate through different functions within the processing department and emphasizes the importance of punctuality and regular attendance.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to meet production line speed
• Standing 8 - 10 hours per day
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Possible bending, stooping, twisting, and squatting
• Repetitive hand-intensive tasks, tight gripping, grasping, pinching, and pulling required

Responsibilities

• Process product using tools and equipment provided
• Follow all work safety policies and guidelines
• Observe equipment operation and notify personnel of malfunctions or safety issues
• Adhere to USDA and GMP product standards and guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Rotate to various functions within the processing department
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours
