Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts (with certification if required by state law).

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent for operating larger delivery vehicles.
  • Previous experience in a combined warehouse and delivery driver role.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management software and handheld scanning devices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer service experience, particularly in delivery or logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of goods.
  • Drive company vehicles to deliver products to customers or other company locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse management systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors, drivers, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
