About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is critical to ensure we deliver exceptional customer service. The main duties of the warehouse associate are to stage, load, unload finished products, raw materials, stock and maintain warehouse inventory.

Requirements

One year's warehouse experience or comparable work experience.
Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
Forklift experience preferred or a willingness to learn and become certified.
Knowledge of basic tools, equipment, and machinery.
Basic computer skills and ability to calculate square footage and linear feet.
Interpersonal skills conducive to team building.
Ability to lift, pull, or push 50 pounds alone
Ability to lift, pull or push 100+ pounds with assistance
Ability to crouch, bend, climb stairs/ladders, and lift frequently for extended periods
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for up to eight hours per day

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience preferred or a willingness to learn and become certified.

Responsibilities

Packaging finished products for shipping by shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.
Staging finished products for loading.
Loading finished products onto the truck.
Unloading raw materials from the truck.
Operating forklift, carpet cutting machine, and/or truck.
Generate Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipping documents.
Ensure all invoices/paperwork are properly signed and handed in to the designee.
Quality control of inventory by keeping records of stock, completing damage reports, cycle counts, warehouse organization, and safety concerns.
Performing preventive maintenance on forklift, carpet cutting machine, and/or truck.
Interpersonal skills with a positive, friendly, and upbeat attitude.
Regular on-site attendance during business hours according to the work schedule.
Cleaning and maintaining work area.
Turning off and securing equipment when not in use.
Other duties as assigned.
