About The Position

General Fasteners Company located in Denton, TX is looking to hire a full-time Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver. A warehouse associate/driver will be responsible for for receiving and pulling products and assembling kits with the correct components as well as transporting materials from our warehouse to customer delivery points using a company truck. Duties may include picking & packing orders, loading the truck, driving safely to destinations, delivering materials efficiently to customers, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a delivery and warehouse driver.
  • Ability to drive a company-provided box truck.
  • Experience with Microsoft software (MS).
  • Experience with Epicor.
  • Customer-focused and service-oriented.
  • Ability to solve basic problems.
  • Ability to organize resources and set priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and energetic.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization and to build and maintain positive and professional working relationships.
  • Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing job requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Possession of or ability to operate industrial forklift and pallet truck licenses is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Drive company truck(s) to perform pickups and/or deliveries.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments to verify accuracy and check for damages.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment following company SOPs.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
  • Organize inventory and maintain stock accuracy through regular cycle counts.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Schedule maintenance for company truck(s).
