About The Position

We're looking for reliable individuals with a good work ethic to join the Allied Wire & Cable warehouse operations team as a full time, direct-hire Cut & Strip Associate at our Collegeville, PA facility! As a Cut & Strip Associate, you will be responsible for operating machines to cut and strip wire/cable, performing quality control and inspections, and assisting with general warehouse duties as needed. This is a great opportunity to be part of a collaborative team where your contributions matter! Hours: 2:00PM to 10:30PM M-F Pay Rate: $20/hr (including shift differential) + full benefits Location: 101 Kestrel Drive Collegeville, PA 19426

Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Attention to detail and ability to handle small wires and components
Ability to multi-task
Basic math and computer skills
Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
Reliable transportation is required as the site is not accessible by public transit

Responsibilities

Review order tickets and set up machines using iPads according to ticket specifications
Operate multiple machines to cut pieces of cable per order instructions
Conduct inspections of product using rules, calipers, and micrometers
Use computers to complete paperwork
Cut samples of wire to check for damages and send to customers
Operate pallet jacks to relocate inventory
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
