About The Position

The Warehouse Associate & Backup Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities and supporting delivery logistics within the organization. This position involves managing inventory, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining an organized and safe warehouse environment. Additionally, the role requires serving as a backup driver, stepping in to deliver goods to customers when primary drivers are unavailable, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The successful candidate will contribute to operational efficiency by collaborating with team members and adhering to safety and quality standards. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• CDL Class A or B (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
• Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Experience driving delivery vehicles in a professional setting.
• Familiarity with inventory management software or warehouse management systems.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and properly store incoming inventory while verifying shipment contents against purchase orders.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including proper labeling and storage of materials.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and in compliance with company policies.
• Serve as a backup driver by delivering products to customers, following assigned routes, and ensuring timely deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize workflow and resolve any operational issues.
