About the position
The Warehouse Associate position at Metrie involves actively participating in the distribution process of interior millwork products. Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and ship a variety of building materials, including mouldings and doors.
- Read and understand pick lists and paperwork.
- Lift, push, and pull material bundles that weigh between 49-69 lbs.
- Ensure accurate tallies and order quantities.
- Operate various types of machinery as required, including an electric tugger and trailer.
- Clean and tidy the work area as required.
- Perform product binning and put-away as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50lbs.
- Experience in a warehouse environment.
- Solid work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills.
- Enjoy working in a team environment.
