Join the SIMOS Team as a 2nd Shift Warehouse Production Associate for Toyota NAPCK, located in Hebron, KY! This is a Temp-to-Hire position, lasting up to 1 year, where you will play a crucial role in the receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of service parts and accessories to our customers. The primary objective of this position is to ensure that the right part is delivered at the right time, damage-free, to our customers. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks that include picking, checking, auditing, sorting, over-packing, consolidating, and staging orders with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail. You will also handle receiving functions, which involve unloading, staging, sorting, and binning all inbound materials from various vendors. It is essential that all shipping and receiving functions are performed accurately and in compliance with established standard operating procedures and daily workload plans. Safety, quality, and productivity are paramount in this role, and you will be expected to meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards. In addition to these responsibilities, you will establish part locations, relocate, build, and replenish reserve/excess/primary picking locations as needed. You will also verify inventory variances and perform cycle counts and stock verifications. Continuous improvement is a key aspect of this role, and you will be encouraged to participate in warehouse committees, kaizen projects, and various project teams. Maintaining organization and cleanliness in your assigned work area is also a critical responsibility. You will be trained to operate powered equipment, including order pickers, tuggers, reach trucks, and counterbalanced forklifts, at heights up to 25 feet. This position requires flexibility to work in either a hot or cold work environment and may include daily and weekend overtime. We offer a competitive pay rate of $23/hour, with opportunities for pay raises every six months, along with various benefits and incentives for new hires.
