Ferguson is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate (2nd and 3rd shift) to join our team! Hours are Monday to Friday with hours as follows: 2nd shift 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m., 3rd shift 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., training on 1st shift between hours of 6:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. T his is a 24/7 operation; candidate must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • 3-5 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
  • Valid state issued license is
  • Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification may be required
  • CDL or PR Heavy Driver's License is required
  • High attention to detail.
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
  • Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
  • Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
  • Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Pre-employment drug and background screening required

Responsibilities

  • Utilize computerized ERP / CMMS (Maximo) platform to track inventory levels and assist in order fulfillment processes.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment including a stand-up forklift, pallet jack and other Powered Industrial Vehicles to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
  • Build, wrap, sort, inspect and transport pallets and packages.
  • Perform picking, packing, and staging duties to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
  • Accurately and timely receive, load and unload , verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
  • Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.
  • Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any mechanical issues
  • Collaborate with the team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain workflow efficiency
  • May b e responsible for providing driver duties and responsibilities
