Ferguson is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate (2nd and 3rd shift) to join our team! Hours are Monday to Friday with hours as follows: 2nd shift 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m., 3rd shift 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., training on 1st shift between hours of 6:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. T his is a 24/7 operation; candidate must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
3-5 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
Valid state issued license is
Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification may be required
CDL or PR Heavy Driver's License is required
High attention to detail.
Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Pre-employment drug and background screening required

Responsibilities

Utilize computerized ERP / CMMS (Maximo) platform to track inventory levels and assist in order fulfillment processes.
Safely operate warehouse equipment including a stand-up forklift, pallet jack and other Powered Industrial Vehicles to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
Build, wrap, sort, inspect and transport pallets and packages.
Perform picking, packing, and staging duties to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
Accurately and timely receive, load and unload , verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.
Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any mechanical issues
Collaborate with the team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain workflow efficiency
