About The Position

The Warehouse Associate 4 is responsible for performing a variety of tasks within a fast-paced distribution center or warehouse environment. This role is expected to operate all forms of equipment within the warehouse and focuses on the safe and efficient movement, storage, and tracking of products to meet operational goals and ensure customer satisfaction. The Warehouse Associate 4 is expected to demonstrate leadership, operational excellence, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of warehouse pick pack and ship operations.
  • Previous experience and proficiency in operating all forms of warehouse equipment including RF guns, electric pallet jack, dock stocker and reach truck/cherry picker (certification required on all equipment).
  • Willingness and capability to mentor less experienced associates.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of products and production information that is picked/handled
  • Actively contributes and participates in site safety activities.
  • Dependable, with a solid attendance record and a commitment to punctuality.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 60 lbs.) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working at elevated heights while using cherry pickers or similar equipment.
  • Basic math and computer skills for data entry.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Contribute to and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and participate in ongoing safety training sessions. Serve as a role model and keep the workspace clean and organized to prevent hazards. Proactively identify and report unsafe practices, incidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Product Handling & Organization: Operate of all types of warehouse equipment including RF guns, electric pallet jacks, dock stockers and reach truck/cherry pickers to support pick-pack ship operations in a warehouse. Perform area clerk duties, including preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with other departments as needed. Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements based on operational knowledge.
  • Quality Control & Accuracy: Proactively identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues in products received or shipped.
  • Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate warehouse equipment RF guns, electric pallet jacks, dock stockers and reach truck/cherry pickers safely and efficiently. Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure operational safety and compliance. Perform basic maintenance checks on equipment, such as battery levels or safety features, and report issues to the supervisor.
  • Adaptability & Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and resolve routine warehouse challenges in a timely and effective manner. Identify ideas to enhance warehouse processes and efficiency. Participate in cross functional activities and projects as needed.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: May occasionally train and mentor team members on advanced equipment operation, safety protocols, and product knowledge. May support front line leaders in coordinating daily operations and meeting productivity goals.
