In a warehouse environment, perform a variety of activities related to the storage and shipping of raw material and/or finished product in order to support the overall operation and exceed customer expectations.
Sort, stack, clean, wash, and inspect materials to keep production flowing smoothly
Assist in order filling, packaging, and completing paperwork accurately
Operate forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment (we'll train the right person!)
Support machine operators with key tasks to ensure efficient workflow
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
Report equipment issues promptly and help maintain tools in top condition
Pitch in where needed and help train new team members
Follow all safety protocols and lean manufacturing practices
Work directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery
High school diploma or GED
Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial setting
Forklift experience
Basic math, reading, and computer skills
Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Comfortable using hand-held measuring tools and scanning devices
