About The Position

The Warehouse Associate position at SPAR involves working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment, where associates are essential to the efficient functioning of the warehouse. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience
• 1 year prior warehouse or general labor experience is a plus
• Experience working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment, carrying up to 40 lbs on a regular basis, and lifting up to 60 lbs on an infrequent basis
• Basic math skills for inventory counts
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Able to operate a computer or handheld device (training provided)
• Reliable, safe, and a team player
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Access to reliable transportation for all required shifts

Nice To Haves

• Experience with hand truck equipment (including but not limited to a pallet jack, hand truck, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Attend all trainings and follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Comply with Dress Code, with the only permitted personal item in the work area being a clear water container
• Ensure accurate processing of all merchandise to our stores and guests
• Report to work on time and complete all job tasks as assigned accurately and on time
• Engage in problem solving to support continuous improvement
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment
