About The Position
We are currently looking for a 1st Shift - Warehouse Associate for our Desoto, TX facility to join our VALUES based organization. In this role you will focus on essential functions such as materials handling, assisting shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing to sales associates for processing. You will read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped. Additionally, you will move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas, sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items, and mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods. You will also record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer programs. Safety compliance with all OSHA safety requirements, work rules, and regulations is essential, as well as maintaining cleanliness in your work area.
