About The Position

PrimeSource Building Products Inc., one of the nation's largest wholesale distributors of building supply products, has an immediate opportunity for a Warehouse Associate. This position involves receiving, storing, picking, loading, and distributing building product materials inside and outside of the Distribution Center. The Warehouse Associate will also drive propane or electric powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, or similar equipment to lift, stack, tier, or move products or materials.

Requirements

• Dependable attendance and team-oriented.
• Experience with driving a forklift or cherry picker equipment preferred.
• Safety awareness with a focus on results and accuracy.
• Schedule flexibility, with overtime as necessary to meet customer expectations.
• Education preferred: High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Transporting materials to and from receiving, storage, and production areas using forklifts or other lifting devices.
• Organizing products by sorting and placing items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
• Pulling customer orders promptly from stock and placing them on pallets, transporting orders to packing stations, shipping departments, or directly to trucks.
• Tracking production of customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to achieve daily goals.
• Maintaining records by verifying accuracy and product quality of items received and loaded for delivery.
• Participating in annual physical inventory and product counts as directed, ensuring accurate labels or tags.
