About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate 1 to support daily warehouse and production operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, tracked, and delivered to support uninterrupted production. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Warehouse Associate 1 will perform cycle counts with direction from Production Supervisors, Production Team Leads, or Production Manager.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or vocational training is an asset.
  • 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, production, logistics, or distribution environment, including material handling or inventory-related tasks.
  • Forklift experience required; certification will be provided as part of onboarding and training.
  • Working knowledge of inventory control processes, cycle counting, and material tracking preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory tracking systems, and familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to safely perform physical job requirements, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 60 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and follow established procedures.
  • Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with supervisors and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-based, fast-paced warehouse environment with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, including adherence to federal, state, and company safety regulations and consistent use of required PPE.

Responsibilities

  • Support accurate and reliable warehouse operations by conducting cycle counts, audits, and inventory updates using computer-based and ERP systems.
  • Ensure inventory integrity by verifying, receiving, and putting away Purchase Orders while maintaining quality, quantity, and component accuracy.
  • Maintain real-time inventory visibility and traceability by accurately recording material movements and maintaining physical and digital records.
  • Support uninterrupted production flow by pulling, distributing, and staging raw materials, fabricated components, and finished goods based on production priorities.
  • Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment to safely receive, transport, and store materials throughout the facility.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping, receiving, and production documentation, including daily production sheets and work tickets.
  • Promote an organized and efficient warehouse by maintaining FIFO processes, organizing bins, condensing inventory, and adjusting warehouse racking as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free warehouse environment, including managing recyclable materials such as baled cardboard.
  • Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations, consistently wearing required PPE and completing daily equipment inspections.
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies, material shortages, and process impacts to leadership to support timely decision-making.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations, production needs, and overall operational continuity.
