About The Position

The Part-Time Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining the seamless flow of operations at Matthews Memorialization's Distribution HUB in Stone Mountain, GA. This position involves loading and unloading caskets and other memorialization products, preparing items for delivery, and supporting various warehouse activities. The role requires early morning availability, with shifts from 4am to 10am, Monday through Friday, and offers approximately 25 hours of work per week at a starting pay rate of $22 per hour.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• 1 year of previous warehouse experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work 5-6 hour shifts while being on your feet, walking, pushing, and pulling products.
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading caskets and other memorialization products from production facilities.
• Preparing products for delivery and unloading products to be stored in the warehouse.
• Scanning products, pulling correct orders, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
