About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator role is responsible for acting as the primary interface for shipping, receiving and inventory management operations within the site, as well as external interactions with Customer Service Representatives and related 3rd parties. Responsible for on-time shipping of domestic and international shipments by ensuring orders have the proper materials allocated to them, with all orders being issued to personnel to pick, pack and ship on a day-to-day basis. This position is also responsible for coordination with all related service platform functions. Must be able to resolve customer-facing issues and ensure compliance with all national and international regulations for the transportation of goods by air (IATA), ocean (IMO), and public highway (DOT). Continuous improvement of processes to maximize productivity and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of related logistics/warehousing experience
  • Strong communication, collaborative, and interpersonal skills
  • SAP Experience, or equivalent MRP system

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus

  • Be detailed orientated and able to multitask having the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization including site management, material handlers, and external partners.
  • Complete all daily tasks including order processing, inventory adjustments, carrier tracking, nonconforming investigations, and filing & archiving completed orders.
  • Ensure key metrics related to on-time shipping, customer satisfaction and inventory accuracy are met.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across work processes to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
