Warehouse Assistant

About the position

Allen Service provides home services, such as electrical and plumbing, as well as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) services. We are looking to add a Warehouse Assistant to our team!

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading install trucks, as well as daily replenishment and restock for technicians.
• Regularly pick up and deliver parts or materials to technicians on jobsites.
• Create and place orders, make returns to vendors and suppliers, and receive deliveries and re-stock shelves.
• Prep and stage material for the next day and collaborate with dispatchers and service managers on any deliveries that may be required.
• Empty all garbage cans in the building, break down and sort scrap metal, and break down all cardboard appropriately.
• Assist with additional job duties or special projects as assigned.
• Participate actively in all training exercises, continued education, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats.

Requirements

• Great problem solver and quick learner.
• Determined, hard worker with a positive attitude and a knack for teamwork.
• Safe driver, comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High integrity with a strong desire to be better tomorrow than you are today.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.

Nice-to-haves

• Plumbing, HVAC, or Electrical experience preferred but not required.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
