About The Position

The Warehouse Assistant supports daily warehouse operations, material accountability, scrap processing, and inventory replenishment. This role is responsible for tracking materials used and returned, managing scrap breakdown and processing, maintaining truck stock inventory, and ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organized, and operational. The Warehouse Assistant also assists with material deliveries, job site inspections, and supply runs.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and accountability
Basic understanding of inventory and material handling
Ability to follow systems, procedures, and documentation requirements
Comfortable using mobile devices for photos, forms, and uploads
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to lift, move, and transport materials as required
Ability to lift heavy materials up to 50lbs
Ability to work in a warehouse environment
Ability to travel to job sites, vendors, and scrap yards

Responsibilities

Track and manage materials used and materials returned
Perform materials checks and balances to ensure accuracy
Maintain inventory records for materials used from the supply house to support replenishment
Manage and maintain truck stock materials on a daily and weekly basis
Manage the breakdown and processing of scrap materials
Log scrap weights with photos for documentation
Inspect scrap to ensure proper separation by material type
Coordinate and complete scrap runs to the scrap yard
Upload scrap documentation into the system as required
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials
Deliver materials to job sites as needed
Ensure proper storage and labeling of all materials and equipment
Travel to job sites to inspect materials used vs. materials picked up using required forms
Upload job site inspection documentation into the system
Assist with material pickups and returns from technicians
Assist with ordering materials
Make supply runs to Home Depot and other vendors as directed
Support inventory replenishment efforts
Deposit checks into the designated account following company procedures
Maintain accurate documentation for all assigned transactions
