About The Position

General labor, assisting with warehouse movements, and cleaning. Handle all inbound freight. Help and support all outbound activity. Performing unpacking of shipment deliveries and documenting the activities into our computer system. Preparing shipping documents. Maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move materials to proper departments or areas. Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods. Supports the shipment of received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Review and apply inventory activities such as stock movements. Report any stock issues and support all inventory functions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Able to lift 75 pounds.
  • Successful completion of background, and drug screen.
  • Follows directions, works independently, and takes initiative.
  • Reliable (regular attendance and on time).
  • Ability to complete tasks accurately and on a timely basis; proficient reading and writing skills.
