About The Position

ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant. Description: Manually load or unload trucks, or other transporting devices; unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations; or transporting goods by hand truck, cart, or forklift. Assist with placing inventory items on shelves, in bins or other proper storage locations as directed by the warehouse supervisor or warehouse specialists. Assist in quarterly physical inventories. Assist with furniture and equipment move order requests as requested. Set up classrooms with desks, chairs, and training materials. Deliver packages and/or materials to specified locations. Maintain duties such as vehicle monitor and shred programs. Regularly sweep and organize all supply and warehouse areas. Must be able to process written instructions to build/tear down furniture items and equipment. Identify and report any maintenance concerns to supervision or maintenance. Identify and report any safety concerns to supervision or safety officer. Always maintains a professional appearance and excellent customer service. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
  • Must have a valid SC issued REAL ID/passport an able to able to operate a motor vehicle
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. unassisted
  • Must be able to effectively read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation and physical exam
  • Must be able to operate a hand truck and/or forklift
  • Must be able to lift, squat, sit, push, and stand for extended periods of time
  • Monday-Friday: 7:00am-4:00pm (Flex as needed but rare)
  • Must be able to operate within Microsoft Office Suits
