About The Position

STRUCTURAL is the open-shop contracting business line of Structural Group. STRUCTURAL is looking for a dependable Warehouse Assistant to support daily operations of our construction warehouse in St. Petersburg, FL. This is a hands-on role, focused on organization, cleanliness, basic inventory tracking, and routine equipment checks. The successful candidate will also be assisting with: Coordinating the acceptance, storage, and deliveries of materials and equipment in conjunction with the field managers and suppliers. Tracking goods while they are in route to their destinations, expediting orders when necessary Shipping and routing of materials and equipment Monitoring tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shop to ensure safe working conditions. Keeping the warehouse safe, clean, and organized at all times. Working closely with mechanic to make sure all equipment is job-ready when it leaves shop. Ensuring returned equipment is properly tagged, stored, and serviced for future use.

Requirements

  • 1+ year(s) experience in a construction warehouse setting
  • Highly organized and efficient
  • Knowledge of basic computer operations and inventory tracking
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL a huge plus!)
  • Ability to lift 60lbs and perform physical tasks typical of a warehouse environment
  • Team focused and safety oriented
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

  • Forklift operation experience
