Position Rocky Mountain Laboratories is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support our healthcare laboratory supplies team in Draper, Utah. The Warehouse Assistant plays an important role in assembling diagnostic kits and managing medical inventory that directly supports patient testing and clinical services across our multi-state organization. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks throughout the shift
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using spreadsheets, inventory systems, and standard workplace software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks
  • Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions consistently
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured environment
  • Reliable attendance and ability to provide advance notice for time off
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members
  • Willingness to adapt to changing workload demands and support cross-functional team needs
  • Availability to work the required schedule
  • Ability to commute/relocate Draper, UT: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse, packing, assembly, inventory, logistics, or supply chain experience
  • Experience working in a healthcare, laboratory, clinical, or medical environment
  • Experience using spreadsheets (Excel or similar)
  • Experience with inventory tracking or order management systems

Responsibilities

  • Assemble diagnostic kits in accordance with established laboratory and quality control protocols
  • Prepare, package, and distribute medical supplies and laboratory materials to internal departments and external clinical facilities
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness
  • Unpack, organize, and properly store inventory in designated warehouse areas
  • Maintain organized shelving, storage systems, and clean workspaces
  • Count, track, and assist with ongoing inventory management and reconciliation processes
  • Support supply chain logistics, including staging materials for shipment and coordinating outgoing deliveries
  • Assist with tracking and managing laboratory assets and equipment
  • Perform quality checks to ensure kits and supplies meet internal standards before distribution
  • Complete basic computer tasks including data entry, inventory updates, order tracking, and label creation
  • Communicate with team members regarding supply needs, shipment timelines, and inventory levels
  • Lift, move, and transport boxes and supplies weighing up to 25 lbs
  • Support general warehouse operations, process improvements, and cross-functional team needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse, laboratory operations, and organizational needs
