Overview: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming material, picking, and filling orders from inventory, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing, and retrieving material in the warehouse. The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining an efficient and organized warehouse environment. Essential Function: 1. Shipping & Receiving Duties: 45% Ensures that items are correctly and securely packed for shipment. Prepares shipping labels and documents for outgoing shipments. Coordinates with delivery team for timely and accurate deliveries. Receives, unloads, and inspects incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Receives, unloads, and inspects incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Checks received goods against purchase orders or invoices. Reports any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor. Efficiently picks and packs orders according to established procedures. 2. Inventory Management and General Warehouse Duties: 45% Organizes and maintains inventory and project storage in an orderly manner. Conducts regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Keeps the warehouse clean, organized, and free from safety hazards. Utilizes space efficiently and maximizes storage capacity. Operates warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner. Performs routine maintenance checks on equipment. 3. Performs other duties as assigned. 10% Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
