About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift Certification preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in a production or packaging facility, or with filling, labeling, and crowning equipment.
• Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Mechanical aptitude for equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
• Valid California driver's license and insurable on the company's automobile insurance policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Logistics Team in daily operations including staging of product and loading/unloading delivery trucks.
• Organize and maintain cold and dry storage in all warehouses.
• Perform daily and weekly routine cleaning of storage locations.
• Keep floors clean and free of debris, empty trash bins, and maintain tidy loading areas.
• Safely operate a forklift and/or hand truck to transport company products.
• Load and unload company merchandise, beer, and mail into vehicles according to safety standards.
• Transfer product from production brewery to warehouse storage using company vehicles.
• Store and rotate finished goods safely and efficiently from Karl Strauss Brewing Co and brewery partners.
• Inspect all receivables upon delivery and prior to storage in the warehouse.
• Accurately update inventory totals and assist with inventory control.
• Ensure all products leaving the warehouse are within code and separate damaged goods for salvage or removal.
• Assist with route deliveries as necessary, adhering to designated routes and delivery policies.
