About The Position
The Distribution Center Team helps Mud Bay put our mission into action by making sure the products stocked in the Mud Bay warehouse get to our stores on a consistent, accurate, and timely basis. The Warehouse I executes daily order picking and inventory replenishment processes while ensuring the Distribution Center is kept safe, clean, organized, and in efficient working order.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Competent with basic math
- Comfortable using computers and handheld scanners.
- Flexibility adapts to a work schedule that reflects the needs of coworkers and Mud Bay.
Responsibilities
- Picks, packs, and stages shipments for transfer to Mud Bay stores as needed.
- Ensures individual pick rate meets current goals of the warehouse.
- Replenishes primary pick locations as needed from overstock locations following FIFO standards.
- Assigns new bin locations consistent with the layout schema of the warehouse and established pick path for optimal efficiency.
- Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean, neat, organized as designed, free of rodents and a safe place to work.
- Follows established safety procedures and practices safe-work techniques.
- Completes required monthly safety trainings as assigned.
- Maintains an accuracy rate of 98% or greater.
- Performs cycle counts as assigned.
- Provides additional support to the DC team as needed or assigned by the Warehouse Manager, Assistant Manager, or Shift Supervisors.
