  • Maintains organization of clinical stock areas with dividers, bins, tags, and piggy back labels.
  • Maintains par level stock in MedSurg, SCU, ED, Perioperative, Diagnostic Imaging and Cardiopulmonary.
  • Performs item count, pulls, delivers, and rotates stock.
  • Rotates stock placed into inventory and maintains bin location catalog and labels.
  • Maintains Safety Data Sheets (SDS) on the online SDS software.
  • Processes stock item requisitions and manages vendor access to the hospital.
  • Handles product and equipment recalls upon receipt.
  • Manages contracted orthopedic medical device account for MRH.
  • Catalogs the receipt of assets and tags them with the appropriate tracking I.D. number.
  • Receives freight verifying appropriate delivery location, quantity, and package integrity.
  • Documents damages, shortages, overages, and miss-shipments with the vendor.
  • Scans documents received with packages into MMIS.
  • Packages and processes outbound shipments.
  • Completes transfer tickets for RMA's, repairs, and returns.
  • Maintains contracted toner supply for MRH.
  • Manages the reuse of expired medical products.
  • Maintains inbound and outbound mail and stock of shipping supplies.
  • Files all completed purchase orders on a daily basis.
  • Sorts, transports, and performs pick-ups and deliveries of mail, packages, equipment, instruments, specimens, and bank deposits.
  • Ensures appropriate storage, handling, security, and confidentiality of specimens, records, and deposits during transit.
  • Picks up supplies from local suppliers and neighboring hospitals.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for positions requiring driving, with a valid driver's license).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable).
  • Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.
