About The Position

As a Warehouse Assembly Technician, you will support production operations in a fast-paced environment. You will assemble products, operate machinery, use tools, inspect components, perform warehouse work, stock materials, select orders, operate a forklift, and maintain a clean and safe workspace. In this role, you will play a critical part in meeting production goals, upholding quality standards and flexing to assist with warehousing and other departments as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); 6 months of warehouse and/or maintenance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ years of manufacturing and/or assembly experience.
  • 6+ months of warehouse experience.
  • Ability obtain and maintain forklift certification.
  • Ability to utilize, or learn to use, all necessary computer software and industrial equipment.
  • Apply effective verbal and written communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to meet minimum productivity standards.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, organized, reliable, open to change, and adaptable.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and hand-tool experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, if needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products or components according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Operate and maintain production equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
  • Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Help warehousing and other departments as needed.
