Warehouse Assembler
About The Position
Steinhafels is hiring Warehouse Furniture Assemblers. This role involves taking partial ownership in the company and helping customers during significant life moments. The position is in a fast-paced work environment, recognized as a top workplace. Responsibilities include assembling and preparing a wide variety of furniture for delivery using hand and power tools, contributing to creating beautiful homes for customers. Both 1st and 2nd shifts are available with flexible scheduling options, including four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days per week. Working one weekend day per week is required.
Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull furniture
- Ability to use various power and hand tools to assemble furniture
- Great attendance and punctuality
- Attention to detail, ensuring tasks are done right every time
- Motivated and driven, volunteering for new challenges and making a difference
Responsibilities
- Unboxing of all furniture parts
- Accurate and proper construction of furniture
- Leveling of all furniture necessary
- Preparing completed furniture for delivery
- Taking prepped furniture to the designated delivery chute
- Maintaining cleanliness of surrounding work areas
- Ample opportunities to cross-train and be involved in other duties of the distribution center
