About The Position

The Warehouse Applications Analyst will play a crucial role in the logistics execution systems for the new distribution center. This position involves gathering business requirements by engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations. The analyst will conduct fit/gap analyses against the Manhattan WMSOS and Honeywell WES software, ensuring that the necessary configurations are made in Manhattan WMOS and Honeywell WES to align with business requirements. In instances where gaps are identified, the analyst will collaborate with the Manhattan and Honeywell teams to develop custom solutions that effectively meet these requirements. Furthermore, the analyst is responsible for ensuring that the developed solutions not only meet the business needs but also adhere to the established ERP and IT architecture standards. In addition to requirements gathering, the Warehouse Applications Analyst will be tasked with creating detailed process flows and acting as a direct liaison between operations and the project team. This role requires a clear understanding of system requirements, deadlines, and priorities to ensure that all objectives are met efficiently. The analyst will perform FIT/GAP analysis and provide solutions that can be achieved through configuration of the Manhattan WMOS and Honeywell WES systems. It is essential for the analyst to guide business team members in adopting industry best practices and standard solutions offered by these systems. The analyst will also support various functionalities of the Manhattan WMS, including Labor Management, Slotting, and Supply Chain Intelligence, as well as the Honeywell WES, which encompasses Momentum, Momentum Connect, Route Managers, and Storage Manager. Responsibilities include developing and executing test cases, performing unit and integration testing, and preparing documentation. The analyst will assist with end-user training and troubleshoot technical issues to resolve system problems. Additionally, the analyst must ensure that support SLAs are met based on the severity of issues and that the escalation procedures are followed appropriately.
