About The Position

Prime Secured is hiring a Warehouse and Procurement Manager. In this role, you will lead and oversee the warehouse and procurement management functions, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with company growth objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can guide a team, foster supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement in procurement and inventory processes. The ideal candidate will possess technical knowledge of security and networking parts and components or the aptitude to gain this knowledge quickly. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • Security and/or Networking industry experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of procurement/inventory experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in low-voltage cabling and physical security products, with a broad understanding of the construction industry related to these areas.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor procurement and inventory control staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture aligned with company values.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and implement long-term procurement strategies that support organizational goals.
  • Oversee sourcing, negotiating, and contracting processes for materials and services, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Approve major purchasing decisions and vendor agreements.
  • Direct inventory planning and control to maintain optimal stock levels for project schedules.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and implement best practices for receiving, storage, and staging.
  • Ensure perpetual inventory systems are maintained and audited regularly.
  • Act as the primary liaison between procurement, operations, engineering, and project management teams.
  • Support Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and related analysis for project supervisors and estimators.
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships to enhance performance and innovation.
  • Lead initiatives for cost reduction and supplier development.
  • Establish and enforce procurement procedures to ensure efficiency, transparency, and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and inventory processes.
  • Oversee resolution of supplier and internal customer issues promptly to maintain project continuity.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions.
