About The Position

The Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the warehousing staff and material handlers, providing coaching and direction to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. This role involves assisting the Production Supervisor with training requirements and supporting the Operations Planning Manager in managing the company's QSEFS programs. The supervisor will generate, analyze, and report on distribution-related monthly KPIs, while also monitoring and executing shipping and receiving processes. Additionally, the supervisor will support the Train the Trainer program for forklift operator certification and manage logistics and warehousing operations, including creating shipping schedules and liaising with supply chain partners.

Requirements

• Proficiency in JD Edwards/ERP software
• Microsoft Office Suite
• 5 years' experience in warehousing and distribution
• 5 years' experience operating forklift (clamp, standard forks)
• Knowledge of inventory control processes
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to self-manage priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Team player with negotiation skills
• Versatility and flexibility to work with changing priorities
• Commitment to excellence and high professional standards

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and direction to warehousing staff and material handlers.
• Assist Production Supervisor with training requirements.
• Support Operations Planning Manager in managing QSEFS programs and compliance.
• Generate, analyze, and report all distribution-related monthly KPIs.
• Monitor and execute shipping & receiving and transportation processes.
• Support Train the Trainer program for forklift operator certification.
• Create and manage finished goods distribution shipping schedules.
• Liaise with Supply Chain and 3rd party warehouses for compliance of export shipments.
• Manage and coordinate transportation for WIP inventories and packaging materials.
• Ensure effective warehouse space management including labeling and organizing products.
• Create and submit monthly transfer plans to support disgorge schedule.
• Maintain budgetary freight costs and transportation rates.
• Ensure general housekeeping of assigned areas and annual deep cleaning requirements.
• Provide forklift and material handling support as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and facilitate shipments to meet bottling plans.
• Manage Tirage and Riddled inventories and logistics coordination.
• Track and reconcile inventories with production and winemaking teams.
• Enter shipping & receiving data into production software systems.
• Ensure quality assurance checks of incoming packaging supplies are carried out.
• Respond to inventory discrepancies and organize problem-solving teams.
• Administer monthly cycle counts and year-end physical inventories.

Benefits

• Base pay scale of $80,000 - $85,000 annually
