Our mission: To provide the best value to our clients through quality products, honest people, industry-leading practices and a commitment to excellence in animal care and all we do Core Values: Trust, Teamwork, Integrity, Commitment, and Respect General Responsibilities/Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Distribution Logistics Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective logistics processes. The ideal candidate will manage a team, ensuring that all aspects of warehouse management, Team Member Safety, inventory control, client service, and shipping/receiving are performed to the highest standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse and logistics management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Forklift certified
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance and 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to safety ascend/descend stairs constantly.
  • Ability to work in a wide range of working conditions including office, warehouse, cold storage and production floors.
  • Conditions of production floor and warehouse may be cold, wet, loud and PPE is required.
  • Must be able to pass E-Verify and MVR

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve productivity and minimize costs.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability of stock.
  • Implement inventory control systems to track product movement and reduce discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and improve service quality.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve issues related to order fulfillment and logistics.
  • Collaborate with sales and lead client service teams to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage logistics strategies to ensure efficient transportation and distribution of goods.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and transportation providers to optimize delivery schedules and reduce costs.
  • Monitor logistics performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Oversee all shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders.
  • Manage documentation and compliance for shipments, ensuring adherence to regulations and standards.
  • Train and supervise staff in shipping and receiving procedures to maintain quality control.
