About The Position

This role is responsible for supporting procurement and warehouse operations through receiving, shipping, inventory handling, and local deliveries. The position ensures accurate receipt of materials against purchase orders, proper labeling and organization of inventory, and timely delivery of materials to job sites or internal departments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to read and match purchase orders, packing slips, and labels
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Basic computer skills (inventory or ERP systems)
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs regularly
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
  • Ability to work in warehouse and outdoor environments
  • Must be able to work in varying environmental conditions, handle physical labor, and safely operate delivery and material handling equipment
  • PPE must be worn as required

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or delivery preferred
  • Experience working with purchase orders and inventory systems preferred
  • Forklift experience or certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against purchase orders (POs) for accuracy and completeness
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly
  • Accurately enter received materials into inventory systems
  • Print and apply labels to materials for tracking and identification
  • Organize and stage materials in designated warehouse locations
  • Coordinate with procurement and project teams regarding material status
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards
  • Ensure proper documentation (packing slips, shipping labels, bills of lading) is completed
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts or audits
  • Keep warehouse organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards
  • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials to job sites or other locations
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and secure transport
  • Plan efficient delivery routes and meet delivery schedules
  • Obtain delivery confirmations and maintain delivery logs
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
