The primary responsibilities of this role encompasses, but are not restricted to: Supporting the daily Operating Suite by assisting with patient positioning, preparing theatres, and maintaining cleanliness while restocking supplies Providing, arranging and verifying all necessary equipment for theatre lists procedures Employing safe techniques for patient and material handling to ensure a secure environment for patients, oneself and team members. Upholding infection control standards by adhering to standard protocols and any additional precaution Disposing of waste and handling soiled linen appropriately. Theatre terminal cleaning. To excel in this position, you will need to be self-driven and diligent, capable of following instructions effectively. Flexibility is crucial, as the role demands working a 5-day rotating schedule, with shifts ranging from as early as 6:30 AM to as late as 2400. Additionally, you will bring Ideally, a certificate III in Operating Theatre Technician Practice or equivalent (Health Services/Aged Care) Either holds or is working towards a Certificate III in Health Assistance Exceptional customer service skills and exemplary time management abilities Self-motivation and proficiency in working efficiently while adhering to instructions.
