About The Position

Responsible for greeting all employees and fitting them in proper uniforms.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Adequate hand dexterity to hold a sewing needle and sew by hand on all types of fabric.
• Ability to use an electric sewing machine with foot control and an industrial upholstery machine.
• Mobility in a restricted area.
• Ability to stand, sit, and bend for long periods of time.
• Must be able to see and hear (can be augmented with a hearing aid).
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Greet all employees with a positive attitude in a courteous manner.
• Fill out proper forms when issuing uniforms to employees.
• Ensure all forms are signed, dated, and filed correctly.
• Conduct fitting on all employees by measuring for a proper fit and labeling every garment.
• Hemming and altering any or all uniforms after fitting is completed.
• Mend all issued uniforms as needed to extend their life.
• Count incoming stock and compare it to the invoice for proper billing.
• Place all incoming stock in the proper place for distribution.
• Assist Wardrobe Manager in inventory count at the end of each year.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner.
• Responsible for all upholstering on property.
