This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located at customer's site. No relocation is offered. AT&T is hiring to support a US Government Program that provides IT Services to US Strategic Command located in Omaha Nebraska. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Maintain and administer Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure, coordinating with multiple locations for seamless connectivity. Provide full lifecycle support for network infrastructure, including installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades. Troubleshoot network issues and support SDWAN (Software-Defined WAN) initiatives and modernization projects. Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and reliability for all system users. Perform necessary maintenance and repairs to support continuous network operations. Monitor and test website performance to ensure optimal functionality and uptime. Assist with network modeling, analysis, and planning, coordinating between network and data communications hardware and software. Supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists as needed. Administer network security measures to protect network infrastructure and data. Support various transmission/transport mediums, including VPNs, dedicated circuits, broadband, etc. Collaborate with public carriers and circuit providers to deliver and maintain network services. Follow established standards, processes, and policies in all network administration tasks. Provide configuration management support, including recording, tracking, monitoring, and updating component configurations and changes using configuration management systems. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and industry standards. Perform shift work to provide continuous 24/7 coverage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in network and computer systems administration.
  • Extensive experience with DAN/NSX IT solutions.
  • CompTIA Cloud+ certification.
  • TS/SCI (#tssci)
  • Can start with a TS (#topsecret)

Nice To Haves

  • ITIL v4 certification.
  • In-depth experience with SDWAN technologies and modern WAN architectures.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex network environments.
  • Experience supervising and mentoring support personnel.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with network security administration and compliance.
  • Knowledge of various transmission mediums and working with public carriers/circuit providers.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with network modeling, analysis, and capacity planning.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and government regulations related to network administration.
