As an AMETEK Engineer, you will have the opportunity to pursue multiple paths throughout your career including: Design Engineering, Field Applications Engineering, Sales and Business Development, Operations (Quality/Supply Chain), Business Leadership and General Management. Our Engineering internship opportunity will build your technical expertise in a variety of business applications. You'll work with innovative technologies and learn from some of the best Engineering leaders in the business. Throughout your assignments, you'll collaborate with team members, customers, and suppliers to solve business problems. Examples of developmental work assignments include designing new and evaluating existing products, processes, and/or systems, participating in operational process improvement initiatives that impact key performance indicators, and working on cross-functional project teams with colleagues in Marketing, Sales, R&D, and Operations.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Strong desire and motivation to develop a career as a future leader in the engineering function
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Related work or internship experience and results oriented through initiative, ownership, and accountability
  • Applicants must have unrestricted US work authorization (forms of CPT and OPT are restricted work authorization)

Responsibilities

  • Design new and evaluate existing products, processes, and/or systems
