About The Position

A Wall Protection Installer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of wall protection systems in various settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential environments. This role involves measuring, cutting, fitting, and securing materials such as wall panels, corner guards, handrails, and other protective fixtures designed to preserve the integrity and appearance of walls and surfaces. The installer must ensure that all installations meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent or
  • One to three months related experience and/or training or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
  • Ability to read digital and paper building plans.
  • Ability to track, Manage and report on products installed.
  • Ability to measure and cut materials to fit in specific spaces within specified tolerances.
  • Ability to follow written and/or verbal directions.
  • Ability to work independently and with a work crew.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools required for installing wall protection and div.10 products.
  • Ability to use construction -related digital technology including email, apps and software

Responsibilities

  • Install wall protection products such as panels, bumpers, corner guards, and handrails according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure proper adhesion and alignment of materials.
  • Accurately measure and cut materials to fit designated areas using various tools and equipment.
  • Securely mount and fasten wall protection materials using adhesives, screws, and other fastening devices.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repair of installed wall protection systems, addressing any damage or wear.
  • Inspect finished installations to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the installation process .
