About The Position

Milgard Windows and Doors is conducting a Walk in Open Hiring Event in Temecula, CA. The event will take place at 26879 Diaz Road, Temecula, California 92590, on Friday, June 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The company is looking for dedicated and motivated individuals to join their team in various production roles. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints (training provided).
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • One year of incoming inventory/materials experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Forklift experience with the ability to obtain certification onsite is required (Must have a valid CA Driver's License).
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in warehouse environment, particularly window manufacturing preferred.
  • Glass handling and/or glass knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble window and door components according to specifications.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
  • Operate hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, screw guns) to cut, fasten, and assemble parts.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and proper storage.
  • Gather finished products with pallet jack/carts and properly place items in the warehouse.
  • Ensure loads are complete per documentation and that they are on the correct delivery vehicle in the proper order.
