About The Position

East Liberty Family Health Care Center is seeking a licensed provider to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in our Walk‑In Clinic. This role focuses on episodic, same‑day care for acute and urgent primary care needs in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible MD/DO, or certified NP or PA
• Prior experience in urgent care, walk‑in care, primary care, or emergency medicine
• Strong clinical decision‑making skills and comfort managing high patient volume
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks preferred)

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an FQHC or community health setting
• Bilingual skills strongly preferred
• Familiarity with underserved or complex patient populations
• Experience with same‑day access or open‑access scheduling models

Responsibilities

• Provide walk‑in and same‑day care for acute and episodic conditions, including minor illnesses and injuries
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan within the provider's scope of practice
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications as appropriate
• Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the EMR
• Collaborate with nursing, front desk, care coordination, and primary care teams
• Support appropriate referrals and warm handoffs to primary care or specialty services
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Deliver care in alignment with the health center's mission and patient‑centered values
