About The Position
As a Waitress/Server at Fuji Restaurant, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive. You will take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, providing menu recommendations and answering any questions about the menu to enhance their dining experience. Serving food and beverages in a timely manner is essential, as is ensuring guest satisfaction by checking in with them throughout their meal. In addition to serving, you will handle cash transactions and process payments accurately, requiring basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy. Collaboration with kitchen staff is vital to ensure the timely delivery of food orders, and you will also assist with bussing tables and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. While previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred, it is not mandatory. We are willing to provide training for candidates who demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling, with shifts primarily in the evenings and on weekends as needed.
